i'm soooo proud of mason. he took his yellow belt exam today and did fabulous. what i love about tae kwon do is the discipline, focus and discussion about courtesy, integrity, perserverance and being a kind and good person. It physically trains them as well increasing their strength with push-ups, jack knifes and more. They need to memorize forms which are combinations of kicks, punches and various movements which takes alot of mental focus. we go to class three times a week and i love it and he has a blast!! he was sooo excited to get his yellow belt today and that is the most important thing.
as usual i wanted to fuel him well this morning so the boys had:
green juice, cantaloupe, buckwheat pancakes with sun warrior vanilla protein and fruit smoothies with almond milk, mango, strawberries, blueberries and banana!!
Today was another Green Juice, Superfood and Tonic Ice Cream Day!! woke and did a long yoga practice before the family woke!!

i did lots of superfoods and herbs in my green juices today. total green juice in the morning was about 40 ounces. in my green juices i added ionic minerals, crystal energy, ginseng tincture, goji/schizandra tincture, zeolite, marine phytoplankton. i did not do all of these in one drink but did small glasses with a few at a time. Plus i did all my capsule supplements (multi, d-3, b-complex etc...). I've been doing a b-12 patch too. Use your juices as a way to get loads of other nutrient-dense superfoods and herbs into your body.
mason and i were out running errands all day so i prepared my juices and put them in a cooler so i had them in between our errands. i was fueled for an action packed day with mason!!
juiced a pineapple and added one ounce of e-3 live and ginger juice!! this was sooo refreshing mid-afternoon.
stopped at puree and got 2 ounce shot of wheatgrass and coco-phyll which is greens and coconut water. i drank this and munched on my chlorella tablets as an afternoon snack.
Tonight i made one of my favorite ice cream tonics!! It tastes like coffee but is filled with nutrient-dense herbs and superfoods!!
1 1/2 cups ice
1/4 cup dandy blend
2 1/2 scoops vanilla sun warrior protein
1 tbsp maca
1 tbsp mesquite
2 tbsp tocotrienols
1 tsp eucommia bark
1 tsp chaga
2 droppers ionic minerals
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 droppers vanilla stevia
2 droppers toffee stevia
1 tbsp xylitol
Creamy and delicious. i ate it sitting outside at the picnic table while watching the boys play soccer!! i love being outside as much as possible!!!
