I have a masters degree in physical therapy and am a licensed physical therapist in Maryland and DC. I'm certified in Yoga, Gyrotonic Exercise and Pilates. In my practice I utilize these movement modalities to help people heal from injuries and balance their bodies to prevent future injuries. I'm a Certified Nutritional Consultant and use holistic nutrition to help people optimize their nutrition intake. I'm a certified Raw Foods Chef and Instructor and Science of Raw Foods Nutrition Educator. I attended and graduated from the Living Light Culinary Institute in California. I teach people how to incorporate more raw living foods into their diet and how to make them delicious and nutrient-dense. I'm also a Certified Holistic Health Counselor through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York.
I'm passionate about everything wellness but my biggest passions right now are raw living foods, yoga and nourishing my kids. i have two amazing little boys, Mason and Owen, who teach me things everyday. They have taught me to see the world through a child's eyes. In yoga we call this a "beginner's mind".
I challenge you to make daily small changes that will improve your overall health and wellness. Come with me on my journey to wellness.
