Here is a delish cacao treat i make when i'm just in the mood for something sweet!! they are a hit with kids and everyone!! My intention was to make these this past weekend but i did not get a chance. hopefully, i'll get to it this week or weekend and i'll share a pic!!
1 1/2 cups organic walnuts
16 pitted organic dates
1/3 cup cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla bean powder
2 tsp of purified water
dash of sea salt
optional: dash of cayenne
extra handful of whole walnuts, to press on top
In a food processor, grind the walnuts and salt until fine. Add the dates and process until dough forms. Next add the cacao, vanilla, water and process again until well mixed. add a dash of cayenne for an extra kick and process again.
Scoop out a tablespoon full of dough and roll into a ball. Pat down into a mini brownie shape. Press a whole walnut on top of each brownie and enjoy!

on saturday i took mason and his cousin mathew to Imagination Stage to see P.Nokio: a hip-hop musical. they had a blast! i loved engaging them in conversation about the show afterwards to see how they interpret different parts of the play. go check it out!!
i'm prepping all my ingredients to make my raw vegan coffee ice cream!! i have my almond and brazil nuts soaking. I just brewed 4 cups of teeccino tea for the liquid base. tomorrow i will make the milk base with the teeccino and nuts, add other ingredients, chill and place in ice cream maker!! delish!!
i actually took almost a whole week off from green juice. i like to do this occasionally to change things up and just see how the body feels without it. i totally felt the difference- not as balanced and less energy. i was sooo excited to return to it today. today i nourished myself with:
green juice, chlorella and supplements
gynostemma and herb teas
more herbs and herbal teas
fruit, superfood and protein ice cream
